My name is György Mihálka. I was born on 8th April, 1969 in Hungary. I left Ferenc Kölcsey Grammar School in 1987 and graduated at the Teacher Training College of Kecskemét in 1994. Later I got my second degree in art and drawing in Kaposvár. After that I taught for 10 years in Elek Benedek Primary School in Kálmánháza. During these years I was doing creative art works actively I was painting and I organized several exhibitions. In 1992 my volume of child poems titled 'Purely' was published under the help of the College of Kecskemét. It had a second edition in 2000 and it is one of the suggested works of the general syllabus.

At the moment another volume of childpoems is under process. In 1999 I lived in Australia for 6 months. This time had a great effect on my life that still appears in my works. In 2002 I founded the Travellers Passing Through Art Society. Painting has been my main work since 2004. My aim is to encourage young artists with help to start their career.
